Msn and Skype merge: Hotmail emails

Hello all,

Just got the email that the messenger serviceis merging with Skype.

What I want to know is will my hotmail account also be affected? Does Skype have email or will I still be able to sign onto hotmail for emails then Skype for chat?

Any advice or help with this would be great.

No, you can't check your mail from Skype(, YET).

I hope they'll add it in, I've already made a plan for them they can integrate Windows Live Messenger into Skype. I miss my Hotmail notifications, it was easy to sing into Messenger at the morning and see my mail...
