MSN to Skype - Blocked contacts unblocked - How to block? (Privacy window options blank)

Hi I just moved from MSN to skype, I had a few contacts blocked for various reasons but I don't want to delete them.

How do I block a contact in skype? The options in the privacy window are all blank.

I'm not sure if I am missing something or it's just impossible to block messenger contacts.

Though these are only a few from the ones I had blocked on MSN. Is there absolutely no way to manage blocked contacts from Skype? isthisreallife.jpg

I don't understand why the message went out to migrate when the migration system and end result are extremely poor. I'm not sure what happened when Microsoft took over Skype, maybe they fired all the competent people. One agency needs to take over the whole microsoft contact system (always been pretty bad) and the skype migration/integration work.

Merge everything into one place to manage, add, block and group contacts.

Is there a beta/alpha test somewhere (that lets you manage blocked contacts..)? I would be happy to test it....

How many people does MS have working for them? I am pretty sure 2 guys in a basement could solve this issue overnight.

Login to http://people.live.com/?rru=contacts

Click Manage >> Limit access

Block / Unblock your contacts in there.

i have one contact who is blocked on skype from my wlm list ive tried all the different options given on here but none have worked

Use WebIM 

WebIM works with hotmail.com

If you're using Outlook.com then you can try to switching back to Hotmail and use WebIM.

Click on the Settings (gear icon) >> Switch back to Hotmail

i can still talk to my contact on wlm and they are now using skype but i want to start using skype but cannot unblock this contact no matter what i use as they are not blocked in my wlm only on skype

I think the problem is that they are still considered "messenger" contacts. They should've been converted to standard skype contacts so you could use all the standard skype features on them (block/etc).

You can repair your WLM installations and use it till March.

Press WinKey + R to open the Run window

WinKey (the button is located between the left Ctrl and Alt with the Windows logo)

Type: wlarp.exe and press Enter

Click Repair All Windows Essentials Programs.
