Hi,I haven't used Skype for years and have been using Teams under my Microsoft account for at least 5 years now.I keep finding that some meetings that get set up end up being sent to Skype and not Teams. How on earth do I stop that happening when I already use Teams anyway? Will my old Skype user just disappear in May and be replaced by Teams or do I have to do something that will force any calendar event to go to Teams and not the old Skype one?Your help will be greatly appreciatedThanks

In recent article you state "By logging in to Teams with a Skype account, chats and contacts will automatically appear in the app so you can quickly pick up where you left off."This sounds great, but how does this work if we already have a Teams account? I would love to move my Skype chats and history over, but I don't want to lose my current Teams chats and history.Additionally, I have several people who are on both Skype and Teams... will there be a way to merge them? What is the best practice to accomplish all of this?

I'm confused. "Teams" page says nothing about the Skype number. So to whom are these monthly fee going? Can I keep my Skype number by reactivating it and continuing to pay monthly fees? There is no information on the switch to Teams about the number except saying you can port it. All good, except you have to be in the geographic boundaries of the USA to do so and I'm out of the country for a year. So what is the protocol for transitioning this number besides an immediate port to another provider? And what is this email about that's requesting I reactive my number?

After installing Microsoft Teams on my ipad and iphone, I was able to migrate my Skype contacts into Teams. All the online instructions for opening the dial pad don't work. 1. There is no "Call tab" to click on. 2. There is no menu on the left hand side of the Teams screen showing a phone icon to click on. 3. There is no option in settings of Team to open dial pad. Once I find out how to pull up the dial pad, I want to know if if Microsoft is going to keep my $40 of credit or let me migrate that money over to Teams. Thanks in advance for your help. The email showing is not my current email. Bu

I got my Skype under my personal profile but only business MS365 has Teams. But I want to keep my account personal. I made a onetime payment for my number and kept my credit to be able to use it should I lose the MS365 paid subscription. So what is Microsoft providing for personal accounts who used to be able to use Skype. The number now is subject to monthly charges which wasn't.This doesn't look like anything I have had for years now. What is going on. Why should I pay a monthly fee when I didn't have to before. My French address is my address in France, but I am resident in Malta for the ti

Hi there. With Skype ending I'm trying to transfer out my Skype number (020 xxx) to a new supplier, but it's failed because of a mismatching postcode, even though I'm correctly providing my business postcode, which matches what's registered on my Skype account. Is it possible that Skype registered phone numbers using its own postcode, or that the registered postcode wasn't updated when my business moved 18 years ago? I can't keep trying different postcodes because there will be a new fee each time I try to initiate the transfer, and I don't know if I'm continuing to throw money away trying to k
