Hi,
problems with the connectme device. Am with Virgin internet ISP i use a router that they provide that has multiple Ethernet connections. i have my pc connected into port 4 on my router and the connectme on port3. I have the Enable DHCP Server ticked on my router settings and in the DHCP CLIENT LIST the connectme client shows (connectme flashing green) in the list along with my pc both have different Ip address and any device i add is given a new different ip address so it works.
The ip address from the client for the connectme device is 192.168.1.151 i then go to this and it brings up the Setup Wizard i put in my area code and click start setup it then says No connection to the internet detected. i click check again and still nothing. i even tried streaming youtube videos when pressing check again. I have also done a factory reset the little reset button to the left hold it down to the light went red again and turns green (flashing) it then shows up again in my DHCP CLIENT LIST and i do the whole process again and still nothing. I even reset my internet modem and router 5+ times and still nothing.
Any help thanks

Hi, do you have any information on the model of the modem/router etc? For some reason the connect me cannot get access to the outside world.
Some cable setups need special configuration to allow more than one device access to the internet. Can two PCs be connected to your router and access the internet at the same time?

Yes i have 3 computers running on my network (not wireless) one i use as a webserver that uses the internet 24/7 and i can access the internet on all of them at the same time. The make and model of the router is d-link DIR-615. I have even tried setting the ip address as a DMZ and still no access. Any ideas?

Some have reported that disabling UPnP with dlink routers can help. Your router appears to have the option to do that - may be worth a try.

Do you have any other way to connect things to verify if there is a compatibility problem with the router, eg can you connect your PC wirelessly and the connect me directly to the cable modem? Or perhaps a different router to try? Not proposing this as a final solution but just to verify where the issue may be.

Also have you checked to see if there is any firmware update for your router?

Firmware is up to date and i double checked it i forgot to say that already check that in my first post sorry. The modem only has an ethernet port that connects to the router, connecting the connectme to the modem means i have no way to access from my pc via wireless. But i have tried this anyway by doing all of the above then trying to access with my ISP ip address from my mobile phone with no luck like I would if I connected my webserver directly into the modem.
I have no spare routers anymore as my vonage (not plugged in) and every other device apart from connectme runs perfectly on my router.

Can you ping www.skype.com
from your PC? The connect me uses ping to check it can connect to the outside world.
