about installing error

dear , i have a problem when i i am installing skype there is a an error shows "instaling skype failed;code1601. y it happns plz solve my problem .

My Skype is working fine except there's always a popped-up message asking me to update the program.  And when I did, I received the 1601 Error Code stating there's some problem and that I need to inform my Network Administrator.

I began to think this might have been caused by some kind of bug/virus because I'd had no problem using Skype.
