Webcam not working with Skype

I have bought a new Creative Live! Cam Socialize HD AF.

It works fine with Skype on my laptop and works fine with Creative software on desktop however on the desktop i cant get the image correct in Skype.

Why is this and how can i fix it? Is it a hardware issue?

Anyone got any ideas with this? If i cant get it to work soon then i wont be using Skype anymore!

Can someone help me with this?????

It must be a Skype compatibility issue with some hardware in my desktop as it works on my desktop with other webcam software and also works on my laptop on Skype.
