WEB CAM PROBLEM

I INSTALLED MY NEW WEBCAM IT DOES NOT WORK WITH SKYPE I TRIED 3 DEFERENT ONES ALL THE SAME,,,PROBLEM NONE OF THEM WORK WITH SKYPE. THE OLD ONE IS NOT INTEGRATED IT WORKS PERFECT. PLEASE HELP,,,,,,,????

I HAVE SKYPE 3.2 (I CAN NOT UPGRADE AS IT S FREEZES MY COMPUTER,,) THE LATEST DRIVER,, WHAT ELSE CAN I DO???????

Do you have all Windows updates and updates to your system and any hardware devices by the manufacturers, including the cam?
