I have an unlimited US Canada plan for one year but when I try to make calls using the phone ist says Skype Credit Balance low and will not let me make calls but I can make calls fromt the compnuter....but does recognize my credits on the new phone...so is not of any use
I'm having the same problem, bought the International plan, and have this problem for months, but because there is NO real support for Skype I'm at a loss on how to correct this problem. I don't understand why there is NO technical support team you can call to resolve problems. PLEASE is there ANY help out there?????
Skype have absolutely NO interest in these issues even though they sell the phones through the Skype website and class them as "official" skype phones.
When I eventually navigated the torturous support system and actually got to talk to an operator, she told me that they dont support these phones and I have to ring GE in the USA.
When I managed to get through to GE in the USA it was to discover that they have absolutely no interest in providing technical support outside the USA/Canada, on the basis that the phones were not designed or intended to be sold outside those Countries, therefore they refuse to even discuss an issue with you !
I am afraid that Skype have NO interest in providing a human being to speak to and you will only be able to talk to a semi-competent computer operator using a live chat facility, but then only if you are a premium customer.
