Freetalk Connect me adapter keeps rebooting every several minutes. How to force a firmware download.

I have had the device about a day. The device has downloaded new firmware (1.0.5.5) but is still rebooting. I received an email from ebuy saying the current version is 1.0.6.3. Is there a way to force a download?
