Skype-to-Facebook video calling

Back in July, we launched Facebook video calling powered by Skype. Today we are thrilled to announce that our partnership with Facebook has reached yet another milestone, with the launch of Skype 5.4 for Mac and Skype 5.7 for Windows Beta you can now video call your Facebook friends directly from Skype.

This means not only can you see which of your Facebook friends are online, read their status updates and IM them from Skype, you can now also make a video call to them as if they were on Skype too. All you need to do is hit “call” from within Skype – your friend simply picks up the call from Facebook. This new feature lets you make more meaningful connections with your Facebook friends– even the ones who don’t have Skype.

Besides this great new Facebook feature, additional new features added to Skype 5.4 for Mac and Skype 5.7 for Windows Beta include improvements in video quality for Mac users and group screen sharing for Windows users with a Premium subscription (group screen sharing is currently available for Mac users).  Users who are chatting one-on-one will also be able to screen share with live video streaming.

This is a decent idea, but if we don't want the integration, we shouldn't be prompted for it. Perhaps a Preferences option or something? I can't use the Facebook integration due to corporate security (Chat/etc is blocked here) and would prefer the option to have the normal Home window.
