Profile photo-where did it go?

Could somebody please tell me where can I find the photo (in which folder on my computer) that I took with the skype camera as a profile photo. It came out beautifuly but I can't find it to use it otherwise as well. Thank you in advance!

Most likely your photo is in the Skype\Pictures folder.

Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %appdata%\skype\pictures and then press Enter or OK button.

I found one older photo in there, so it was the right place, BUT this one that is my profile pic at the moment was strangely NOT there! How is that possible I wonder? Your advice was very helpful anyway, thanks a lot! I tried to search that folder manualy, before I posted here didn't really work...

There is actually a way to retrieve your profile picture from Skype, but this will require some work to be done. See this:
