Invalid number

I have just tried calling a land line in the USA (area code 808 Hawaii). It is a phone number I have called six times in the last few weeks. I have tried all day today and always get a message that the phone number is invalid.  I tried all of my other contacts in Hawaii and get the same message.  I can call other land lines in the mainland USA. I uninstalled Skype and reinstalled and still the same problem.  Allo calls to land and cells in area code 808 are invalid!The last call I was able to make was just four days ago! What has changed? How can it be resolved?

Give them specific examples of numbers that give the error message you're getting.

I am having the exact same issue, with 3 different numbers in Hawaii. Have never had this problem before. I've emailed my details to the number specified as well. Hope it is resolved soon!

Are you sure? This thread is dealing with the inability to call certain #s n Hawaii.

our second post refers to 1-888 #s.

I'm absolutely sure. Hawaii only uses 808 numbers. I have called other places in the US and it works fine. As soon as I try dialing a 808 cell number or landline I get invalid number.

Has anyone found a resolution, I currently deployed trying to call home in Hawaii and got the same message "invalid number." Thanks for the input

ALL, I HAVE BEEN EMAILIN SKYPE ABOUT THIS PROBLEM THAT IT STARTED SINCE YESTERDAY MORNING. NOW, I KNOW THERES HUNDREDS OF SKYPE USERS WHO ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM CONNECTING TO CONTACTS IN HAWAII. SKYPE NEEDS TO GET OFF THER BUTTS AND FIX THIS PROBLEM. THIS IS A PROBLEM ONLY SKYPE CAN FIX.
