Can't find screen to make call [ Edited ]

I just bought a new computer and downloaded the Skype program but I cannot find the screen to make a call and/or the people I had previously listed on my account.  How to I make a call to one of these friends?

Download then run the Skype installer via this link:

http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-full

One the install is complete, signin with your Skype name and password.  That will let you start to use Skype's features.
