Losing connection with a specific contact from my contacts list very often

I'm experiencing a rather annoying problem. Skype loses connection with the person I talk to the most. It happens almost everyday - our messages aren't being sent to each other and we also can't make calls. Please help.

Calling , the phone rings and then shuts off, will not go through.
