I have an HTC Wildfire S,

Android version: 2.3.3.

I had probems with the new versions of skype (2.2 to 2.7). So I installed the old version 1.0.0.984 and it worked flawlessly!!!!! Im so happy!

I tested skype over Wi-Fi and I called a skype contact and a home phone number. I will test over 3g and let you know.

there is no vedio call option in HTC Wildfire S.. u can jst do the voice call

firstly htc wildfie s has a new version as htc wildfire s dul core launched

There are multiple reasons why there's not video call on the Wildfire S:
- The device is lacking a front facing camera for videocalling
- The CPU isn't powerful enough for video encoding and decoding
- The device's memory is very little for video calling
