Xperia X8 - microphone not working

Ive downloaded the newest update for skype from Android Market that doesnt work on Xperia X8 (Android 2.1-update 1). The microphone doesnt work on the new Skype.

I have the same problem with my Xperia X10 Mini Pro. Worked fine before the Skype upgrade.

I have the same problem in my SE xperia x10a running last Skype version and Android 2.1. I´m from Chile. I can hear calls from computers to my phone by skype aplication, but they can heard me. I don´t know what´s going happen if I call to a cell phone and I want to buy credits but with this problem i will not. Please upgrade and fix the problem. Regards

Same problem with xperia mini pro - no mike! In addition to that: the possibility to logout and end skype has been removed. Had to uninstall and restore old version from a backup!

Really bad job by Skype.

I am having the exact same problem with my new Xperia X8. Downloaded skype today all fine except the microphone not working. I hear everything just fine but nobody can hear me. Have you been able to fix yours yet? Thanks

Hi Pernel,

My partner is in the same situation you were in. She also has the Xperia x8, and with an update she has just applied using the market, she can hear me, but I cannot hear her. I have advised her to also restore the old version, but she does not know how to and which it was.

Are you able to pm me the old version? or a link on the net where I can get my partner to download the old version from please?

Hi I had the same problem with my Xperia X8, I just bought it and download skype, people con not hear me, has anyone find out a solution for that? I tried to re installed with no success.

I have the same problem too. The previous edition was just fine. Why, why on earh, did I upgrade it? I prefered it so much more the way it used to be. Could anyone on skype take into account that so many ppl get the same sort of problem and fix it, at last?
