Wrong number..Please include country code

On my Android phone, no matter how I enter the phone number, I keep getting an error message that the number is wrong and please include country code.

I'm calling a number in the US and the code is +1##########, so it should work.

I'm beginning to think that Skype is CRAP.

Hi, Same thing happens to me as well.

Mine is Samsung Galaxy ace, Android phone.

I want to call to India from UK.

I am dialling +9198********

Then I am gettig the error "Wrong number. Please include country code"

But I can call to India using the smae number from PC.

Please help me..

I am in Canada and trying to call phones in Canada from both my Android and computer and get the same message. This is new...never experienced it before.

Skype provides the country code on the Samsung tablet, but all of a sudden the country code was not being recognized. The solution for me was to delete the app and re-install. Problem solved but not without considerable swearing. I also tried to chat with Skype which is available with a premium account to no avail. No option. Skype: You get what you pay for.

I just had very successful contact with Skype customer service.  The fix for this situation (at least for me) was to uninstall Skype on your mobile phone and re-install it from the Android Market.

Some of you may experience problems calling another number rejecting calls from anonymous numbers.  The only work around for those instances is to purchase a Skype number, which I did.  You will then need to log back in to Skype's website (not the application) and specify that you would like outgoing calls to use your Skype number through this Caller Identification link:  https://secure.skype.com/account/caller-id/settings .

Maybe Skype should test properly before releasing updates, this is crap, I am paying for my calls - and the fix has to be done by me? No the fix should be done once by skype not thousands of times by users
