I just got my G10.1 and was also disappointed to not have video skype, to skype with my wife who has an iPhone.

Until Android skype has video available, i found that the google video chat app "Talk" in the android marketplace works pretty well and can connect with the "VTok" app available in the iTunes app market.  It's a pain because I dont have all my skype addresses in there, but at least it will suffice for a few specific people I want to video chat with frequently.

So- FREE video chat between the Galaxy 10.1 and iPhones/iPads is available!

I have The same situation here, i brought The GT10 because i saw that Skype work with vídeo call in Android 2.3 and above with The front cam, after all i'm really dissapointed because it.
And I need the video chat to talk with my gf thousand of miles away from here.
Skype team, please FIX IT!

Has anyone received any kind of response??? I am about to return the Galaxy tab 10.1 also as this was one of the only reasons to goto this platform was to have skype on the go with top resolution. Can anyone provide any rationale why the most used application for a tablet has been locked out?

is this an android issue? Skype can not support 3.0? Has anyone tried downloading an android 2.3 version of skype?

Does Tango allow you to use a Samsong Galaxy tab and get the video. I can receive video with my tab but people on the other end cannot see me (using Skype)

Sooo my husband just surprised me with the Galaxy Tab 10.1 for our anniversary so that we can video chat while he's deployed oversea, but to both of our surprise....it doesn't work.  Should I return the item or will we be able to use it soon?  Any info will be helpful!
