Re: Skype 2.8 for Android released, use this post for feedback

I just downloaded the new version of Skype and it was a shock for me! The new messaging window is terrible! The old one was so nice and shiny. Please return us the old version of messaging window, our let us to choose it in the settings at least!

Thanks

Re: Skype 2.8 for Android released, use this post for feedback

Seeing the other problems around here, mine is like an itch:

"the notification icon is now big, bulky, and downright ugly." to quote a friend.

Knowing Skype, please confirm that the only possibility to get back to the previous notification icon is to un-install the 2.8, install 2.7 from an apk and disable the automatic update feature.

Hello,
Move skype to local disk, delete the user daya from application manager and re-sign in.
That did the trick for me.
Nicer incoming video, correct position (thanks for that!) Although a bit painting like outgoing video...

Developers of Skype for Android, would like you changed the layout of this chat that you have developed new version (2.8.0.296). The look of the chat was more elegant in the previous version. Will have to keep the layout of the old version in this new version? Thank you!

I have a new Galaxy Nexus GSM (from Google).  Skype will not auto-start when the phone boots even though "Sign in automatically" is ticked in the settings.
