How do I delete the instant message history on my Samsung S3.... as can be done on my windows version ?
Dear folks from Skype: You are part of the MS realm. Is it that hard to simply change the software so that IM's can other history can instantly be removed? What's so difficult about it?
It's either too difficult somehow for you guys, (but not really) or, for some reason, there is no will to do it. If there is no will to do it, does that perhaps have to do with 3rd parties wanting to look into IM's for a while longer than planned by the user?
Well, something can and must bedone about it.
Please change the soft so that IM's and other history can be deleted instantly.
Not only for Androids but also for iPhones because they have the same issue.
Stick your neck out guys.....Please so something. This is a reasonable request.
Will the Clear Cache button achieve the same thing without logging out or restting the contacts groups etc ?

@helumax, I know this won't help for android, but at least there's some relief for PC Users. You can use SkypeX to delete messages one by one, or in groups.
It's a great little tool:
for some reason, there is no will to do it. If there is no will to do it, does that perhaps have to do with 3rd parties wanting to look into IM's for a while longer than planned by the user
For Samsung Galaxy S4: Go to Settings (gear icon), More, Application Manager, scroll down to Skype, then Clear Data AND Clear Cache (Clearing Data alone will not do it). Note: You will have to re-login to Skype.
Sigh . . . Hey, Skype development team - why can't you make this simple like it is on the PC Desktop?
