I've heard from everyone that the most recent upgrade for Skype mobile makes video chat work on the Samsung Galaxy S2. Well, we can reach it, and I can see the other person, but they can't see me. Every time I select a camera, it thinks for a couple seconds and then refuses. The call remains active, and I can still see and hear the other person, but when I go to check the camera, it says no camera is selected again. I can do this as many times as I like, with the front or the back camera, and nothing changes. Does anyone else have this issue, and if so, how do I fix it?

The new version of Skype is supposed to have fixed video calling. If you start with a voice call, and the receiver opts for the video chat, and the you opt for video, it should work. That's how I managed to get my S2 to work with my mom's Sidekick 4G. The problem we're having now, though, is that when I turn my phone so my mom is right-side-up, I'm upside-down on her screen and vice versa. Idk, at least I can see her, but it's kind of irritating.
Just purchase Galaxy S2 and having the same issue. When I activate Video camera on Skype the I can see the little box appear where my video would be and then it shutsdown and I get the Red line through Video camera Icon.
