First off, thanks in advance for taking the time to read this.
Here's my situation:
I live in the US and my cell phone service provider is Boost Mobile.
I have unlimited texts/minutes/etc, however I do NOT pay for unlimited international calls (an extra $10 per month).
I have a friend in Spain I'd like to call via Skype.
I would be calling her mobile phone (she would also be using Skype).
To clarify, I would be using Skype to call my international friend who would also use Skype to recieve the call.
I understand that Skype-to-Skype international calls between two computers are free, but
my question is
whether or not Skype-to-Skype international calls made between two mobile phones are free.
I haven't been able to find an answer to this specific question on Google or the support forums on here, so I apologize if this question HAS already been answered somewhere.
Thank you!

Hi!
Thank you for you question.
A Skype-To-Skype call will stay free also if you´re both using mobile applications.
The only costs will be determined by connecting to the networks (ex.: 3G) your mobile companies provide you (unless you use free Wi-Fi) and this will depend on the rate your mobile companies charge you for using their network.
On Skype for Android 2.5 you can have the following activities with any of your contacts for free:
- Skype call
- Skype video call
- IM
If you wish to call landline or mobile, you have the opportunity to purchase Skype credit directly from the application as you will be re-directed to Skype.com where you can browse our various range of products including calling subscriptions.
Please consider that local mobile provider might prevent their clients from using Skype to make calls (both Skype-To-Skype and from Skype to standard phone).
We strongly reccomend to contact first the mobile phone companies in each country to verify whether any block is set for Skype to work on their networks.
I hope this has answered your question, shall you need further assistance do not hesitate to forward your queries again.
Regards.

Re call to laptop skype phone from my desktop computer in Maine USA to my friend
on St Martin [SXM] (French side of St Maartin) island. I am new to Skype and have not yet
subscribed to any calling programs. St Martin would be an international call. QUESTION:
Can I just subscribe for this one international contact? (I do not need any other international calling)

That's great news that PC or mobile to international mobile video calls are free. Thanks!
I note that there will be a charge form the senders provider. Pls advise how much data is used in sending the video call from a mobile so we can estimate our usage against our provider's allowance (eg. Mb per unit time). I am specifically interested in video calls from a UK PC or Virgin mobile to an Australian Telstra iphone mobile.
Will the recipient be charged for receipt of the call on her Oz mobile?
Thanks in anticipation.
regards,
Tony
