Camera turned 90 degrees clockwise while video calling

Hi,

I am currently using my Samsung Galaxy S i9003 in Hong Kong. Everytime when I skype with my friends using video call, my face just appears 90 degrees clockwise on my friends' screen. Is there any way I can solve this problem?

Thanks

What screen orientation are you using? Is it in landscape or portrait?

I've created a bug ticket for investigation by the Skype for Android development team. I'll come back to you if we need more information.

Thank you

Re: Camera turned 90 degrees clockwise while video calling

Skype 2.8 for Android actually added the possibility to rotate your outgoing video. Just tap on the camera icon during a call and tap "Rotate" to rotate it in 90° steps.

So just to confirm: Your call partner is seeing video all fine on his screen but on your end it's shown 90° rotated?

Re: Camera turned 90 degrees clockwise while video calling

I am using Huawei Ideos S7 tablet. There is no video rotate icon in the camera when I do video chat. My partner's video is rotated by 90 deg. Please fix this.
