Archos Arnova 9G2

Hi there...why is there no skype camer/video function for the G2 androids...I have loaded my skype account  into the 9G2 and all functions but the camera/video facility. Please advise...

i have the same problem, i got to send a video call but it only says back camera?? only has a front camera tho, it only has the options of back camera or off, but should be able to choose front aswell! might be a bug  hopefully a update will fix this! 

oh and i can here the other person but not see them. 

ill try and contact skype and see what thay say

I have exactly the same problem as you. Will someone from Skype please inform us if something is being done about solving the problem.

Hello,

the cam does NOT work in Skype on Archos Arnova 9 G2.

Also after the Skype exit the cam doesn't work standalone with message: Camera error: Cannot connect to camera.

P.S. The only working app for the Voice Call for now is Yahoo Messenger.

P.P.S. Still waiting the answer/updates from Skype/Microsoft.

For statistical purposes I wish to add that this is also my experience with the Arnova G2 9. Please fix.

Paltalk also works properly with cam on Arnova 9G2.

Hi,

Did someone find a solution already? I bought the 9G2 for my mother, and she can only recieve the video picture from other PC´s, not send the video picture of the tablet.

Is there a possibility to send this complain to Arnova and/or to Skype, to make Skype work properly?? The Arnova is a popular tablet for a good price, impossible that Skype doesn´t work on it!!

please try to google "skype47_rearonly",  then unzip it and install to Arnova 9 G2. it works for me.

hiya just want to ask u .. i brought arnova 9g2 and i just realise that the is no video skype working can u explain more about skype47_rearonly" what is mean because i tried to downloaded from arnova but cannot open plz help thank u
