Bluetooth on Razr Maxx HD JellyBean 4.1.1

Seems that either Skype can't see Bluetooth or Bluetooth can't see Skype.  Either way, verizon 3G and 4G provide excellent support for me to do a 40 mile drive using Skype but my Razr Maxx HD with JellyBean 4.1.1 makes me pick up the handset while driving.  

Skype and the major handset manufacturers need to crack this, or maybe someone create a standard VOIP interface for Bluetooth...it's this worked over the last 7 or 8 years on Blackberry, iPhones 4 &5 and many more..

...come on Android get take the lead here please! Or Skype - figure a universal standard for a fix.  And avoid driving accidents due to holding handsets while driving.
