finding contacts

How many hoops does one have to jump thru? why can't  we find contacts when they have a valid Skype name? Just look at all the problems on this forum and most of them deal with this issue!

I'm having the exact same problem.I guess the hoops have to be on fire in order for them (Skype) to wake-up...................jeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzz

I can't finde contact, it is my firs time I installed the skipe it welcome me with my skipe name, there is no contact tab only show what i have and what is availble services to by,

I did the tests and it is fine. please help.

Recently acquired a nokia n8 and dowloaded Skype using existing name and password to login -which was OK. but no contacts.

Any help?
